Tableau Data Visualization Challenge 2026 is an online data visualization competition organized by The National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru, in collaboration with HackerRank, the Institution's Innovation Council, Department of Information Science & Engineering, and The Byte Club and HACKERRANK CAMPUS CREW AT Dr. P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayapura
The challenge is designed to help participants transform raw data into meaningful visual insights using Tableau Public. Participants will get an opportunity to learn, visualize, analyze and present data through an engaging multi-stage challenge.
The event begins with a live Tableau webinar followed by a quiz. Participants will then work on a real-world data visualization challenge, where they will create a Tableau Public dashboard, explain their insights through a short video, and submit a documentation/report explaining their approach and analysis.
The competition focuses not only on dashboard design, but also on data interpretation, storytelling, creativity, analytical thinking and communication of insights.
