Expanding Horizon 8.0 – Mechanical Engineering is an initiative by the Student Mentorship Program (SMP), MNNIT Allahabad, designed to help aspiring mechanical engineers evaluate their technical understanding and prepare for the upcoming internship season.
The assessment focuses on core Mechanical Engineering concepts, testing participants' conceptual clarity, technical aptitude, and ability to apply engineering principles to solve problems.
Objectives
- Evaluate fundamentals of Engineering Mechanics.
- Assess understanding of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer.
- Test knowledge of Fluid Mechanics.
- Strengthen concepts in Manufacturing Processes.
- Evaluate understanding of Theory of Machines and Machine Design.
- Encourage analytical thinking and application-based problem-solving.
Guidelines
- The assessment will be conducted online through Unstop.
- Participants must attempt all questions within the stipulated time.
- Submissions will be evaluated according to predefined criteria.
- Any unfair means or plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
- The decision of the organizing team will be final.
