Expanding Horizon 8.0 – Biotechnology is an initiative by the Student Mentorship Program (SMP), MNNIT Allahabad, aimed at helping aspiring biotechnologists assess their subject knowledge and strengthen their preparation for upcoming internship opportunities.
The assessment focuses on fundamental and interdisciplinary concepts of Biotechnology, encouraging participants to demonstrate their scientific understanding, analytical abilities, and application of biological principles.
Objectives
- Evaluate fundamentals of Molecular Biology and Genetics. - Assess understanding of Biochemistry and Microbiology. - Test concepts related to Cell Biology. - Strengthen knowledge of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. - Evaluate understanding of Bioprocess Engineering. - Encourage scientific reasoning and application-based problem-solving.
Guidelines
- The assessment will be conducted online through Unstop. - Participants must complete the assessment within the stipulated time. - Answers will be evaluated according to predefined criteria. - Plagiarism or any form of unfair practice is strictly prohibited. - The decision of the organizing team will be final.
