About the Company
Mivhaan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Network Security Engineer to support secure and reliable enterprise network operations across its Mumbai and Bangalore locations. The successful candidate will contribute to firewall administration, incident response, security monitoring, and technical troubleshooting across L1, L2, and L3 support functions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot network security events, alerts, incidents, and service requests.
- Configure, administer, and maintain Check Point and Palo Alto firewall environments, including policies, VPNs, NAT, and access controls.
- Handle issues at the appropriate L1, L2, or L3 level and escalate complex problems with clear technical documentation.
- Perform firewall rule reviews, connectivity checks, health monitoring, upgrades, and configuration validation.
- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, application, and service delivery teams to resolve issues within agreed service levels.
- Maintain accurate tickets, operational records, change documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in L1, L2, or L3 network security operations.
- Hands-on knowledge of Check Point and Palo Alto firewall technologies.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, NAT, firewall policies, and security monitoring.
- Good analytical, incident-management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work from the Mumbai or Bangalore location and participate in operational support activities as required.
