About Mind Race
Mind Race is a live 1v1 battle game for Maths and Logical Reasoning. Two players get the same questions at the same time — the one who answers more correctly and faster, wins.
Format
- Individual contest — no teams.
- The contest runs live on mindrace.in for 1 hour on Saturday, 31 October 2026, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST.
- After registration closes on 29 October, every registered participant gets a private event link by email. Open the link, sign up or log in to Mind Race (free), and you are added to the event automatically.
- Use the same username you entered in the registration form.
- While the event is live, open the event and click "Find opponent" — you are matched 1v1 with another participant. You only play against other participants of this contest.
- Each match: 10 Mathematics questions in 90 seconds.
- Play as many matches as you like until 9:00 PM.
Scoring
- 100 points for every correct answer.
- Speed bonus: +50 if answered within 10 seconds, +25 within 30 seconds.
- Negative marking: −25 for every wrong answer. A skipped or unanswered question scores 0.
- The event leaderboard ranks players by number of wins first, then total points.
Subject: Mathematics
Short, numerical questions: arithmetic and BODMAS, percentages, ratios, averages, fractions and decimals, powers, HCF & LCM, simple equations, profit & loss, interest, speed–time–distance, time & work, mensuration and more.
Eligibility
Open to all school and college students. Free to participate. A free Mind Race account is required.
Rules
- Use one account only. Multiple accounts will be disqualified.
- Stay on the match screen. Switching to another tab or app twice during a match forfeits that match.
- Unfair means (sharing answers, using someone else's account) lead to disqualification.
- The organiser's decision is final.
