Opportunity brief

Guidelines

  • Open to BBA and MBA students of the School of Management, Mahindra University.
  • Each team must consist of 3–4 members.
  • All teams will receive the same fictional company profile and initial pool of capital.
  • Teams must make strategic capital-allocation decisions within the specified time limit.
  • New business situations will be introduced approximately every 15–20 minutes during the dynamic simulation.
  • Teams must analyse each new situation and make decisions based on its impact on their existing strategy.
  • A Live Leaderboard will track indicators such as company valuation, financial health, market position, brand reputation, innovation and risk exposure.
  • Shortlisted teams will proceed to the Final Boardroom, where they must present and defend their strategic decisions before the judging panel.
  • Final evaluation will consider strategic thinking, business logic, financial understanding, leadership, adaptability, communication and ability to defend decisions under questioning.
  • The final result will not depend solely on the Live Leaderboard; the judging panel will determine the final outcome.
