Opportunity brief
Boardroom is a high-intensity business strategy and leadership competition where participants take on the role of executive decision-makers and navigate a fictional company through a series of rapidly evolving business situations.
Guidelines
- Open to BBA and MBA students of the School of Management, Mahindra University.
- Each team must consist of 3–4 members.
- All teams will receive the same fictional company profile and initial pool of capital.
- Teams must make strategic capital-allocation decisions within the specified time limit.
- New business situations will be introduced approximately every 15–20 minutes during the dynamic simulation.
- Teams must analyse each new situation and make decisions based on its impact on their existing strategy.
- A Live Leaderboard will track indicators such as company valuation, financial health, market position, brand reputation, innovation and risk exposure.
- Shortlisted teams will proceed to the Final Boardroom, where they must present and defend their strategic decisions before the judging panel.
- Final evaluation will consider strategic thinking, business logic, financial understanding, leadership, adaptability, communication and ability to defend decisions under questioning.
- The final result will not depend solely on the Live Leaderboard; the judging panel will determine the final outcome.

- Shortlisted teams must participate in the Final Boardroom, where they will present and defend their strategic journey before the judges.
- The judges' decision in the Final Boardroom will be based on strategic thinking, business logic, leadership, financial understanding, adaptability, communication and ability to defend decisions under questioning.
