IDEATEX 4.0 is an exciting idea-pitching competition designed to bring out the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of students. Organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell at KIET Group of Institutions, the event provides a platform for students to present their unique ideas, ranging from technical solutions and business models to social innovations.
The competition encourages participants to transform their ideas into clear, practical, and impactful concepts through structured idea submission and live pitching before a panel of judges.

- Event Date: 26 October 2026
- Registration Fee: ₹200 per team
- Team Size: 1–4 members
- Venue: TBI Ground, 1st Floor and 4th Floor
- Competition Format: Two rounds
Competition Structure
Round 1: Idea Submission
Participants must submit their ideas through an online Google Form. Each submission should clearly explain:
- The problem statement being addressed
- The proposed solution
- The target market or intended users
- The uniqueness and value proposition of the idea
Submissions will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, clarity, and value proposition. Shortlisted teams will proceed to the pitching round.
Round 2: Live Pitching
Shortlisted teams will present their ideas before a panel of judges.
- Pitching Time: 7.5 minutes per team
- Question-and-Answer Session: 2.5 minutes per team
- Venue: KIET Deemed To Be University
Teams must clearly explain the root problem, proposed solution, market need, uniqueness, and feasibility of their ideas. Participants may use presentation slides or prototypes to support their pitches.
Judging Criteria
Ideas will be evaluated on the basis of:
- Creativity and uniqueness
- Alignment with market needs
- Feasibility and practicality
- Clarity and effectiveness of the pitch
Rules and Regulations
- Business ideas must be unique and feasible.
- Teams must consist of 1–4 members.
- Participants must adhere to the allotted pitching time.
- Participants are expected to maintain decorum throughout the event.
- The final decision of the judges will be binding.
- Participants should follow the instructions provided by the organizers.
