Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and communicate non-conformities to production and engineering teams.
- Support root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, maintenance, and vendor teams to resolve quality issues and improve process consistency.
- Use appropriate measuring instruments and ensure inspection equipment is handled and documented correctly.
Requirements
- Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing environment.
- A background in mechanical manufacturing, strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection practices, attention to detail, and clear communication skills are expected.
- The successful candidate should be comfortable working with production teams, following documented procedures, and maintaining accurate quality documentation.
- This is a full-time, in-office opportunity based in Bangalore, with monthly compensation of ₹20,000–₹25,000.
