About the Company:

Jeya Industries and Engineerings Private Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Develop and modify designs using AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.
  • Prepare manufacturing and engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
  • Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, and accuracy.
  • Work with engineering and production teams to resolve design-related issues.
  • Make design modifications based on engineering requirements and feedback.
  • Maintain and update engineering drawings, models, and design documentation.
  • Assist in product development, prototyping, and design improvement activities.
  • Follow company design standards, engineering practices, and documentation procedures.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical design principles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Creo.
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of GD&T.
  • Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to create accurate production-ready drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
