Jeya Industries and Engineerings Private Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components and assemblies.
- Develop and modify designs using AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.
- Prepare manufacturing and engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, and accuracy.
- Work with engineering and production teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Make design modifications based on engineering requirements and feedback.
- Maintain and update engineering drawings, models, and design documentation.
- Assist in product development, prototyping, and design improvement activities.
- Follow company design standards, engineering practices, and documentation procedures.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Good knowledge of mechanical design principles.
- Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Creo.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to create accurate production-ready drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
