Sustainability Ideathon | Entrepreneurship Initiative, IIT Gandhinagar
The Entrepreneurship Initiative, IIT Gandhinagar (EII) presents a Sustainability Ideathon aimed at encouraging students to identify real-world sustainability challenges and develop innovative and practical solutions.
Eligibility
- Open to students from colleges and universities across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Students from Law, Management, Finance,Arts,Design and other academic disciplines are also eligible to participate.
- Each team must consist of 2–4 members.
- All participants must possess a valid student ID.
The competition will be conducted in two rounds:
Round 1 – Online Screening Round
The first round will be conducted online and will consist of:
- MCQ-based questions on sustainability, innovation and problem-solving.
- 3-4 sustainability-focused problem statements requiring participants to analyse the problem and propose solutions.
- Only one team member has to attempt the round 1 quiz
Participants will submit their responses in a structured format covering:
- Problem Understanding
- Proposed Solution
- How It Works
- Impact & Feasibility
The top 100–150 participants/teams will qualify for the final round.
Round 2 – Grand Finale at IIT Gandhinagar
The final round will be hosted at the IIT Gandhinagar campus. Shortlisted participants will get an opportunity to visit the campus, present their solutions and interact with fellow innovators and the organising team.
Prize Pool: ₹1,00,000
The Ideathon is open to students interested in sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship and solving real-world challenges.
Note: Travel and accommodation will not be provided by IIT Gandhinagar. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements.
