OpSigma, The Operations and Supply Chain Club of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi is inviting articles for the next edition of its magazine, Opulence. The top 3 articles will receive prizes worth INR 8000 and other top entries will get a chance to be featured in the magazine.
Opulence is an annual magazine that provides an avenue for all Operations and Supply Chain enthusiasts to showcase their knowledge and findings of the latest happenings in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. The theme for writing is "Reglobalization: Navigating Trade in a Changing World".
Following are some of the suggested topics for the articles:
- Supply Chain Diversification: The End of Single-Source Dependence ?
- Geopolitics and the New Geography of Global Manufacturing
- Building Supply Chains for the Next Black Swan
- Resilience vs. Cost: How Much Should Businesses Pay for Security?
- Energy Security: securing the supply chain of oil amidst middle East crisis
Kindly note that the above topics are suggestive in nature, and topics on other relevant themes in the field of Operations and Supply Chain are also welcome. It is strongly recommended that the author expresses his opinions and resorts less to reproducing information already available on the internet. We encourage the articles to contain the author's original ideas and opinions. Also, try to include charts and graphs wherever possible.
Guidelines:
- The word limit is 1,000 words
- Please keep Times New Roman (Size-12) as the font type. You may use Size 14 for headings/subheadings
- The articles should not infringe any copyright and should be strictly original and the source of the graphs and figures should be mentioned itself
- Articles can be co-authored (maximum of 2 members)
- Only a single entry is allowed per individual/ participating team
- The article is required to be sent in Word/PDF formats
- Include charts and graphs wherever possible
