IIT Delhi
IGNITE is a hands-on startup and entrepreneurship experience designed for students, aspiring founders, and early-stage entrepreneurs looking to learn, build, solve, and explore the startup ecosystem.
The experience brings together practical startup learning, real-world problem-solving, and startup pitching, giving participants an opportunity to learn directly from experienced founders and entrepreneurs.
What Does IGNITE Involve?
The day begins with a series of hands-on startup workshops covering key aspects of building a venture:
- Market Sizing + MVP: Understand market opportunities, TAM/SAM/SOM, and how to think about building an effective MVP.
- Problem Identification & Finding First Customers: Learn how to identify meaningful problems, validate them, and think about acquiring your first users.
- How to Pitch: Learn how to structure and communicate a compelling startup pitch.
Following the workshops, participants will explore one of two tracks:
Crossroads
For participants who don't currently have a startup idea.
Crossroads gives you the opportunity to work on real-world business problems presented by companies. Teams will analyse the problem, develop potential solutions, and present their approach while receiving feedback from experienced business leaders.
You do not need a startup idea or prior entrepreneurial experience to participate in Crossroads.
Pitch Arena
For participants with a startup idea or an early-stage venture.
Have an idea you've been thinking about? This track gives you an opportunity to develop and communicate it through a focused pitching experience.
Participants will present their ideas and receive feedback from experienced founders and entrepreneurs on their problem, solution, market opportunity, and overall approach. Selected participants will get an opportunity to take their ideas further through an advanced pitching experience.
