Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for UI and backend validation using the existing hybrid framework. - Utilize WebdriverIO with TypeScript and JavaScript to implement reusable, maintainable, and minimal-code UI automation tests. - Design and execute backend API validation tests using Rest Assured with Core Java, leveraging Java 8 streams for efficient data processing. - Perform comprehensive input/output validations, including verification of data integrity against SQL databases. - Establish and manage secure connections to cloud-hosted databases on AWS, ensuring compliance with security best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage across UI, API, and database layers. - Continuously improve the automation framework to minimize code duplication and enhance modularity. - Troubleshoot and debug test failures, providing timely feedback and resolutions.
