Opportunity brief

About ExamLyft AI

ExamLyft AI, owned by Havelock Consulting LLP, builds an assessment and practice platform for institutes and learners. Help us test the platform and make it easier to learn through clear English guides and short onboarding videos.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually test web and mobile-browser workflows using provided test accounts and sample data.
  • Write test cases and bug reports with reproduction steps, expected and actual results, screenshots, and recordings. Retest fixes and maintain QA checklists.
  • Document institute-admin and learner journeys as user guides, FAQs, and onboarding checklists.
  • Write simple English scripts, record screen walkthroughs, and edit short tutorials and demos with clear narration, captions, and annotations.
  • Check videos against the current product and update documentation when features change.
  • Work with the founder and development team, share progress, and incorporate feedback. Use approved sample data in recordings.

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken English for clear instructions, accurate captions, and understandable narration.
  • Attention to detail, logical thinking, patience, and organised documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of manual testing, test cases, and bug reporting; motivated beginners are welcome.
  • Basic screen recording and video editing skills using a tool of your choice. AI-assisted video creation and visual design are useful additional skills.
  • A laptop, reliable internet, and a suitable microphone or headset.
  • Working commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week across 5 working days.

Coding and test automation are optional. Relevant personal and college projects are welcome; a particular degree is not required.

Training and Guidance

We provide product onboarding, example workflows, guidance on testing and tutorial creation, and regular review feedback. You will gain hands-on experience testing and documenting a real platform. Bring a willingness to practise, ask questions, and improve.

How to Apply

Describe your testing, English communication, documentation, and video editing experience. Share a tutorial, screen recording, writing sample, or relevant project if available. Shortlisted applicants may demonstrate a brief workflow and explain a bug report.
