Estée Lauder Companies is hiring for the role of Trade Marketing Executive!
About the Role:
Responsible for Trade Planning, Activation & Management in line with Brand Marketing strategy. Derives the marketing plan into a detailed animation and promotional plan by Retailer. Builds trade marketing plan and monitors execution by Corporate Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising. Supports Key Account Managers and E-KAMs in preparing Retailer and retailer.com discussions, in particular regarding the promotional calendar and the Trade and Visual Merchandising execution.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Trade Marketing Plan:
- Responsible for building a strong trade plan for each Retailer and Channel
- Turn the marketing plan into a detailed animation and promotional plan by Retailer, including product launches and special events
- Develops and owns the trade marketing plan as per the Brand Strategy and Product Marketing Calendar
- Updates planograms by Retailer and door type
- Conclude the Trade campaign analysis with inputs from Field team and the different available tools (BI etc.) and report results to Brand Manager and other applicable stakeholders
- Responsible for ordering and procuring GWP/ samples required as per marketing calendar/trade plan by liaising with global and regional product Supply Chain Team
- Retailer Support:
- Supports in preparing for Retailer discussions, regarding the promotional calendar and the Trade and Visual Merchandising execution
- Collects feedback from retailer on all initiatives
- Measures performance of Trade Marketing actions and strives for spend optimization
- Financial:
- Planning and monitoring of budget for Gift-With-Purchase, Displayers, Point of Sales and VM material
- Responsible for giving valid forecast inputs ensure forecast is aligned with trade plan focus
- Create shopping carts and follow up (for own responsible areas)
- Consumers & Retail Experience:
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs across trade channels – brick-mortar stores, e retailers, owned media channels
- Put together timely briefs for In-Store & Retail animation across new launches, 5-star campaigns, key shopping moments, exclusive events/masterclasses, etc. for the VM team to execute spanning across - merchandising, display, launch units, litho visuals and risers, lightboxes, animation & gamification requirements, counter signs, printed collaterals, pricing signages, etc.
- Planning and executing promotional strategy to support events, Trade Shows & brand pop-ups.
- Builds relationships with business partners and key customers, follows up on promotion efforts, keeps informed on sales force needs and assists sales management as necessary to ensure all programs are implemented to their best advantage
- Cooperate with Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Consumer Marketing in supervising new product launch strategy.
- Ensure presentation to field force and retailers on timely basis
- Conducts regular store visits to monitor brand activity versus competitor, roll out of marketing campaigns and to understand top doors
