Epicor Software Corporation is hiring for the role of AI QA Developer Intern!
Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for AI-enabled applications using Java-based automation frameworks.
- Assist in creating and maintaining automated regression and functional test suites using Java and industry-standard testing tools.
- Validate software functionality, APIs, user interfaces, and AI-generated outputs against business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects using defect tracking systems.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, product managers, and AI engineers to reproduce issues and validate defect fixes.
- Support the creation of test plans, test scripts, test data, and quality documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, sprint testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) activities.
- Continuously learn emerging AI testing methodologies, automation technologies, and quality engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Java programming and object-oriented programming principles.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile development practices.
- Familiarity with Java-based automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Basic knowledge of REST API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, SQL, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions is beneficial.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and techniques for validating AI-generated outputs is a plus.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Coursework or project experience in Java programming.
- Experience with Java-based application development, automation testing, or software development through academic projects, internships, or personal projects is preferred.
- Exposure to Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, Maven, Git, or similar Java development and testing tools is desirable.
- Interest in AI technologies, software quality engineering, and test automation.
- Ability to learn quickly and contribute effectively in a collaborative Agile development environment.
