Emerson is hiring for the role of Applications and Systems Engineer 1!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work closely with internal and external customer to understand customer requirements and propose the best possible resolution for the given application-based project. - On time submission of quality offer in coordination with BDMs, internal & external sales team, Legal team, PMO and factory PSQ's. - Provide Pre-sales and technical support to all customers, business partners and distributors. - Provide technical support and attend the pre and post order technical meeting with sales, PMO, Product management team, BDMs (Wherever applicable). - Ensure CRM (Customer Relationship Management) data are updated regularly. - Ensure project requirements are reviewed accurately and seek clarifications and approvals from respective collaborators before submitting the offer to customer. - Ensure on time submission of offer, along with BDA (Delegation of Authority) process compliance. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Ability to establish priorities and multitask. - Demonstrated teamwork or ability to work in a team environment. - Should be detail oriented and an assertive character. Must be able to manage complex situations under pressure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Chemical Engineering - BE / B-Tech Graduate. - Knowledge in isolation valve products, Actuators and instrument components will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of sizing - destructive and non-destructive testing will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of Metallurgy, Material science, Fluid Mechanics will be an added advantage.
