About The Event:

  • SYNOFURA '26 provides students and aspiring researchers with an opportunity to showcase innovative ideas, research work, and emerging concepts in Biomedical Engineering and allied fields.
  • Participants can present their work under any one of the four symposium tracks.

Symposium Tracks:

  • Track 1: AI, ML & Digital Healthcare.
  • Track 2: Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering.
  • Track 3: Neuroengineering & Rehabilitation.
  • Track 4: Emerging Innovations in Biomedical Engineering.

Competition Rounds:

Round 1 – Abstract/Paper Submission:

  • Participants must submit a research paper or abstract based on any one of the four symposium tracks.
  • The submission should include the problem, proposed solution/research work, methodology, innovation, results/expected outcomes, applications, and future scope.
  • Submission Deadline: 28 September 2026.

Round 2 – Online Paper Presentation:

  • Shortlisted participants will present their work online before a jury panel.
  • Presentation Duration: 5–7 minutes.
  • Participants may use PowerPoint presentations, research findings, simulations, prototype/software demonstrations, or other relevant visual aids.
  • The jury may ask questions regarding originality, methodology, technical feasibility, results, applications, and future scope.
  • Final Presentation: 14 October 2026.

Evaluation Criteria:

Innovation and Creativity – 30%.

Feasibility and Technical Implementation – 30%.

Societal Impact and Scalability – 20%.

Sustainability, Inclusivity and Responsible Technology – 20%.

Submission Requirements:

  • Submissions must be original work.
  • Each team may submit only one idea.
  • Teams must demonstrate their technical understanding and contribution.
  • AI tools may be used during development, but originality and clarity of thought will be evaluated.
  • All required materials must be submitted within the specified deadline.

Rules And Regulations:

  • Participants must maintain professional decorum throughout the online event.
  • Teams must join the presentation session at their scheduled time.
  • Participants are responsible for a stable internet connection and necessary presentation facilities.
  • Presentation and demonstration materials should be ready before the scheduled slot.
  • Technical issues must be immediately reported to the event coordinators.
  • Organizers may modify the event schedule in unavoidable circumstances or due to technical difficulties.
  • Participants must follow instructions from the event coordinators and jury.
  • The decision of the jury and organizers will be final and binding.

Prizes:

  • First Prize: ₹5,000.
  • Second Prize: ₹3,000.
  • Third Prize: ₹1,000.
  • Cash prizes are available for the online event.

Certificate:

- All eligible online participants will receive an E-Certificate.
