Opportunity brief
Overview:
ProtocolX is an AI-powered vibe coding challenge that puts your ability to think, prompt, build, and iterate to the test.
Forget traditional coding. In ProtocolX, participants will tackle a real-world challenge revealed during the event and use AI-assisted development and vibe coding to turn ideas into functional solutions within a limited timeframe.
The competition is inspired by the emerging world of AI-native development, where the ability to communicate effectively with AI, iterate rapidly, and build working software is becoming just as important as writing code from scratch.
What happens at ProtocolX?:
Participants will take on one main challenge and build their solution using vibe coding. Your final submission won't be judged solely on what you build—the AI-based evaluation will also analyse your repository and the prompts used throughout the development process.
The challenge will test:
- Problem-solving and logical thinking
- AI & prompt engineering skills
- Vibe coding and rapid development
- Ability to iterate and improve
- Quality and functionality of the final solution
- How effectively you leverage AI to build
After the challenge, the Top 10 participants/teams will advance to the final pitching round, where they will present their solutions and approach.
The event will also feature a special session by a Google speaker, bringing an industry perspective to the world of AI, technology, and modern software development.
Prizes:
- 1st Rank — ₹5,000
- 2nd Rank — ₹3,000
- 3rd Rank — ₹2,000
Total Prize Pool: ₹10,000
All participants will also receive certificates, along with food, snacks, and event goodies.
