Opportunity brief

Turn Your Idea into a Working Product

The BharatCode Build League is a hackathon for students, developers, and anyone interested in building useful products with artificial intelligence.

The goal is simple. Find a problem worth solving and build something that addresses it. You can create an application, an artificial intelligence agent, a chatbot, a developer tool, an automation system, or any other product that you think would be useful.

You can participate individually or as part of a small team. We welcome projects across different fields and encourage participants to experiment with new ideas.

Prizes and Opportunities:

Cash Prize:

- The winner will receive ₹10,000 in prize money.

Software Development Internship Opportunity

The winner will also get an opportunity to interview for a paid software development internship offering a stipend of ₹60,000 per month for three months.

The total stipend for the internship is ₹1,80,000. However, winning the hackathon does not guarantee the internship. The candidate must clear a separate interview and selection process to be considered for the position.

Additional Benefits:

Participants can also benefit from the following opportunities, subject to the applicable terms:

  • One thousand GC.
  • Three complimentary Ginhouse event tickets.
  • An opportunity to showcase their projects to the BharatCode team and community.
  • Consideration for developing selected projects into official BharatCode offerings.
  • Free access to BharatCode for eligible students, subject to usage limits.
  • A discount on Ginclair learning paths.

What Can You Build?

You are free to choose the problem you want to solve. Here are a few areas to get you started.

  • Education and learning: Build tools that help students understand difficult concepts, practise questions, or learn at their own pace.
  • Research and information: Create applications that help people find information, analyse data, or organise their research.
  • Productivity and automation: Develop tools that simplify repetitive tasks, manage documents, or make everyday work more efficient.
  • Software development: Build coding assistants, debugging tools, or applications that help developers work more effectively.
  • Artificial intelligence agents: Create agents that can use tools, process information, and complete useful tasks.
  • Chatbots and assistants: Develop conversational applications for websites, businesses, or online communities.

These are only suggestions. You can work on any other idea as long as your project demonstrates a useful application of artificial intelligence.

How to Participate:

Step 1: Register

- Register for the event. You can participate individually or with a small team.

Step 2: Choose Your Idea

- Identify a problem you want to solve and decide what you want to build. You can choose from the suggested categories or work on an idea of your own.

Step 3: Build Your Project

  • Use the BharatCode model application programming interface to develop your project. You can build a website, an application, a chatbot, a developer tool, or another type of product.
  • We encourage participants to focus on building something functional that solves a real problem rather than creating a basic demonstration with little practical value.

Step 4: Publish Your Code

- Upload your source code to a public GitHub repository. The repository must contain a file named BharatCode.txt in its root directory.

Step 5: Submit Your Project

- Submit the main GitHub repository link through the official event page. Include your project name and a short description of what it does.

Step 6: Get Your Project Evaluated

- Projects will be assessed using community interest and the judges' evaluation. GitHub stars and votes submitted through the BharatCode website are among the factors considered.

Who Can Participate?

  • The event is open to college students, software developers, artificial intelligence enthusiasts, aspiring founders, and independent builders.
  • You do not need to be an expert to participate. What matters is your ability to identify a problem, develop a solution, and demonstrate what you have built.

Important Date:

  • The application deadline is 10 November 2026 at 11:59 PM Indian Standard Time.
  • Please check the official event page for the latest participation rules and submission requirements.

Get Started:

If you have an idea that could solve a real problem, this is an opportunity to put it into practice.

Build your project, share your work, and compete for ₹10,000 in prize money and an opportunity to interview for a paid software development internship.

We look forward to seeing what you build.
