Opportunity brief
Responsibilities:
- Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and market references - Create mood boards, sketches, illustrations, and design concepts - Assist in developing seasonal collections and individual garment designs - Work on fabric, trim, color, and material selection - Prepare tech packs, specifications, and design documentation for production - Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, vendors, and production teams during sampling - Review samples and suggest improvements in fit, detailing, construction, and finish - Support styling, lookbooks, campaign shoots, and other creative projects - Ensure designs stay consistent with the brand's visual identity and target audience
Requirements:
- Strong sense of aesthetics, color, proportion, styling, and visual composition - Good sketching and fashion illustration skills - Understanding of fabrics, garment construction, silhouettes, and production basics - Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or similar design tools - Ability to turn references and ideas into clear, executable designs - Strong attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback - A portfolio showcasing fashion design, illustrations, collections, or garment development work
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CLO 3D, Browzwear, or other digital fashion tools - Knowledge of pattern making and garment construction - Understanding of sustainable fashion and material sourcing - Experience with styling, fashion photography, or social media content - Awareness of contemporary streetwear, luxury, ethnic, or D2C fashion trends
