Bayer is hiring for the role of Data Engineer II!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Deliver standard services: Execute recurring analytics requests accurately and on time using approved processes, templates and global tracking standards.
- Protect data quality: Configure and validate tracking so customers and Web teams can rely on their website data.
- Support shared customers: Provide clear operational support to marketing and product stakeholders in coordination with Web team colleagues.
- Develop expertise: Grow from standard implementations toward independent analysis, consultation and more complex measurement work.
- Standard analytics delivery: Execute recurring digital analytics requests using approved processes, templates and global standards.
- Tracking implementation: Support the setup and maintenance of standard website and journey tracking in line with agreed measurement requirements.
- Data quality assurance: Validate analytics data, identify basic issues and support resolution together with web, product and data colleagues.
- Reporting and insight support: Prepare standard reports, dashboards and basic analyses that help stakeholders understand digital performance.
- Documentation and transparency: Maintain clear documentation of tracking logic, data definitions, reports and handovers.
- Stakeholder support: Provide operational support to marketing, product and web stakeholders and explain analytics topics in clear, accessible language.
Requirements:
- University degree in analytics, marketing, informatics, business or comparable professional experience.
- Approximately one to three years of experience in web analytics, tag management, digital marketing analytics or a related role.
- Google Analytics certification or equivalent demonstrated GA4 knowledge is a strong advantage.
- Basic SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and browser developer-tool knowledge
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Curious, dependable and motivated to develop broader analytics and consulting capabilities.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an agile, cross-functional and international team environment.
