All you need to know about ANVESHAN'26
Anveshan'26 is a 24-hour hackathon presented by Amrita Cyber Nation (ACN), School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai, bringing together innovative minds to build practical, future-ready solutions. Participants will tackle three real-world problem statements—Offline by Default, Resource Intelligence, and Human + Machine—through creativity, collaboration, and technology.
Event problem statements:
Participants can choose one of the following problem statements:
- Offline by Default: Build resilient solutions that remain secure, accessible, and functional even without reliable internet connectivity.
- Resource Intelligence: Develop intelligent systems that identify resource inefficiencies and proactively optimize usage before waste occurs.
- Human + Machine: Create safe, adaptive systems where humans and autonomous machines collaborate intelligently, with the right balance of control and autonomy.
The problem statement once selected cannot be changed.
Team Formation:
- Team size: 3–4 members
- Inter-college and inter-branch teams are allowed
- Only students pursuing in Btech/BE only are allowed to participate
- Registration Fee: ₹100 per participant
Prize Pool & Benefits:
- Total Prize Pool: ₹32, 000
- First Prize: ₹15,000
- Second Prize: ₹10,000
- Third Prize: ₹7,000
- Shortlisted teams will be provided accommodation within the college campus. A fee of ₹200 per person will be charged, covering hostel accommodation for the duration of the event. Food will be available at the college canteen at the participants' own expense.
- Strictly NO REFUNDS will be provided if a team is not selected for round2.
- Only 30 teams will be shortlisted for Round 2, increasing the probability of winning
NOTE: Students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus, are not eligible to participate in this hackathon.

Round 1 – Online Screening (Elimination Round)

- Shortlisting based on innovation and feasibility
Round 2 – Offline 24-Hour Hackathon:
- Shortlisted teams must report to campus
- Participate in a 24-hour intensive hackathon
- Final evaluation and prize distribution
