Opportunity brief

Alaan is hiring for the role of Business Analyst - BizOps/GTM!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Support the design and execution of Alaan's operating model — including planning cycles, goals tracking, business reviews, and cross-functional governance
  • Drive strategic projects (e.g. new tool implementation, new initiatives, process improvement) that span multiple teams, coordinating across Departments
  • Translate ambiguity into structure: take an open-ended business problem, break it down, and come back with a clear recommendation and a plan to execute it
  • Build and maintain internal reporting frameworks that give leadership visibility into business performance
  • Drive Revenue Intelligence initiatives connecting customer and GTM data to support broader business decisions
  • Manage and improve internal operating rhythms — meeting cadences, documentation standards, escalation paths, and decision-making forums
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI tools and workflows across teams to automate routine work, streamline data gathering, and improve how the business operates

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in business analyst, business operations, management consulting, or a high-growth startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with data, and translating numbers into actionable recommendations; Working knowledge of SQL is a must
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to automate routine workflows, streamline data gathering and enrichment, or improve internal processes — not just familiarity, but evidence of having actually built or deployed something
  • Proven stakeholder management within GTM functions — sales, customer success, and marketing.
  • High business acumen: understands how business decisions connect to revenue, cost, and growth outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce crisp executive-ready outputs independently
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment with limited oversight
  • Prior exposure to fintech, B2B SaaS, or financial services is a plus
