WSP is hiring for the role of Electrical Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Electrical design of power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm and security systems for Buildings. - Technical calculations and software use for lighting analyses, load calculations. - Conducting all tasks in cooperation with internal clients and other engineering disciplines. - Managing and enhancing client relationships. - Responsible for Revit and CAD standards, implementation, and enforcement. - Agree priorities and deadlines for drawing production with GCC-coordinator. - Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced. - Produce work to specified WSP in Canada BIM standards and suggest revisions to standards as appropriate. - Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Electrical Engineering Degree
- Knowledge with Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit and other electrical softwares - Minimum of 0-1 year experience in electrical design. - Ability to work with a minimum of instructions and complete tasks independently. - Focus on electrical systems for buildings including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs. - Must possess a team player attitude.
