About the Company
White Warbler Communication is offering a practical web development internship for candidates who want meaningful exposure to live client work. Interns will work from the Camp, Pune office alongside developers and designers, contributing to real WordPress websites and Shopify stores rather than limiting their experience to tutorials or observation.
Responsibilities
- Customize and maintain WordPress themes and Shopify storefronts.
- Investigate issues, fix bugs, and support improvements across live client websites and online stores.
- Set up store elements, implement updates, and help ship changes safely with guidance from the development team.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to understand requirements, test updates, and improve user experiences.
- Learn the reasoning behind implementation choices while taking ownership of assigned tasks from the first month.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Curiosity about WordPress and Shopify development.
- Interest in learning theme customization, e-commerce workflows, debugging, and deployment practices.
- Exposure to Shopify Liquid is an advantage.
- Applicants should be comfortable working in-office in Camp, Pune and communicating clearly with the project team.
This is a 3-month internship. The first month is unpaid; months two and three offer a performance-based stipend of ₹5,000–₹8,000 per month.
