About UnifyXperts
UnifyXperts is an information technology (IT) organization focused on delivering smart, next-generation business solutions that help enterprises across the world overcome their business challenges. These solutions leverage innovations in technology, knowledge of business processes, and domain expertise to provide clients with a competitive edge.
Responsibilities:
- Run client discovery calls on finance processes and translate a client's existing accounting setup (chart of accounts, invoicing flow, month-end checklist) into ERPNext configuration
- Build and validate financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, trial balance, ageing reports) during client testing and UAT, and walk clients through them
- Configure and test finance workflows in ERPNext: journal entries, sales/purchase invoices, payment entries, bank reconciliation, and costing
- Own data migration for finance mapping and validating opening balances, customer/vendor ledgers, and historical financial data from the client's old system
- Lead cutover reconciliation checks record counts and balances validated before a module goes live and flag discrepancies before they reach the client
- Document configuration decisions and contribute to internal playbooks and checklists, so what you learn on one client speeds up the next
What we're looking for:
- Substantial experience in accounting, finance, or audit — articleship experience counts
- B.Com (or equivalent), CA-Inter, or a related accounting/finance background. Strong grasp of core accounting fundamentals — double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, GST basics
- Comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets for reconciling and cross-checking numbers. Detail-oriented — willing to chase down "why does this number look off" rather than move past it
- Clear written and verbal communication in English; this role involves running calls with US-based clients directly
- Open to learning ERPNext in depth if you haven't used it before — prior exposure is a plus, not a requirement
Nice to have:
- Hands-on exposure to any accounting or ERP software — Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERPNext
- General interest in how software is used to run a business, beyond just the accounting
Perks of the job:
- Direct ownership on live US client implementations, not simulated case studies
- Hands-on ERPNext configuration experience in the finance module, working alongside senior consultants and the founding team
- Fast growth path — small team, real client-facing responsibility from early on
- Mentorship and direct feedback, not a large-org review cycle
