Opportunity brief
Cost and Management Accountant will be required to analyze our company's internal production, labour, and material expenses. They will be required to track operational efficiency, set product pricing strategies, create budgets, and conduct statutory cost audits to help businesses maximize profitability and control waste.
Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis: Break down expenses for raw materials, labour, shipping, and overhead to find financial leaks or waste.
- Product Costing: Calculate the exact cost to manufacture an item or deliver a service to set smart price tags.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Build financial roadmaps and revenue estimates for different departments.
- Variance Analysis: Compare planned or standard costs against actual money spent to explain gaps to management.
- Inventory Valuation: Track stock levels and assign correct values to goods for internal records.
- Decision Support: Advise executives on whether to launch new products, buy new tech, or cut losses on weak lines.
- Cost Auditing: Conduct formal audits of manufacturing and production records to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
