About the Company
The Hostel Co is building engaging experiences. The team is looking for a creative Video Editor Intern who can turn raw footage and ideas into polished, attention-grabbing content for online platforms.
Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver approximately 10 videos every month for digital and social media use.
- Review raw footage, select the strongest moments, and create well-paced edits that match the intended message and audience.
- Add suitable transitions, music, sound effects, captions, graphics, and basic colour corrections where required.
- Work with the team to understand content briefs, incorporate feedback, and maintain consistency across videos.
- Organise project files and deliver final videos in the required formats and timelines.
Requirements
- Strong interest in video editing and visual storytelling.
- Expertise withvideo-editing tool such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or a similar platform.
- Good understanding of pacing, framing, audio, transitions, and social-media-friendly formats.
- Ability to manage multiple video assignments independently and meet monthly deadlines.
- A portfolio or samples of edited work will be an advantage.
This is a three-month, part-time, work-from-home internship in the Media and Entertainment industry. The selected intern will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month and will be expected to contribute consistently to the monthly video pipeline.
