About the Company
The ePlane Company, incubated at IIT Madras, is developing India's first electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL). Its aircraft is designed for urban air mobility with an expected 110 km range, 165 km/h cruise speed, and runway-free operations. The company is advancing applications across air taxi, air ambulance, and air cargo use cases, supported by partnerships with NVIDIA, AWS, and Apollo Hospitals. Its full-scale e200X prototype is undergoing testing as the team works toward transforming how people and goods move in India.
Responsibilities
- Represent The ePlane Company and the AntiGravity Alliance on your campus.
- Build awareness about eVTOL aircraft, electric aviation, flying taxis, and the future of urban mobility.
- Plan and promote relevant campus conversations, activities, and outreach initiatives.
- Engage student communities, identify interested peers, and help grow a campus network around deep technology.
- Share feedback and insights from your campus while collaborating with the ePlane team throughout the 12-week cohort.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a college or university in India.
- Genuine interest in deep tech, aerospace, electric mobility, or challenging engineering problems.
- Strong communication, networking, and community-building abilities.
- Confidence to take initiative and rally students around an emerging idea.
- Curiosity about how an aerospace startup operates and enthusiasm for sharing credible information.
- Availability to participate actively throughout the 12-week program.
