Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and technically strong MERN Stack Developer with hands-on experience in Next.js. The ideal candidate goes beyond just implementing features — they think from a user's perspective, identify friction points, propose data-driven improvements, and implement solutions that directly contribute to increased user traffic, retention, and engagement and better user experience. Key Responsibilities:
Development & Engineering:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Build performant, SEO-optimized pages and features using js (SSR, SSG, ISR, App Router).
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services seamlessly into the platform
- Optimize application performance — Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
User-Centric Thinking & Growth:
- Analyze existing website flows and proactively identify UX bottlenecks and drop-off points
- Propose and implement features that improve discoverability, onboarding, and session engagement
- Contribute ideas for SEO improvements, content structure, and user journey optimization
- Collaborate with the design and product team to translate user needs into effective technical solutions
- Use analytics and user feedback to prioritize and validate feature decisions
Innovation & Collaboration:
- Bring out-of-the-box ideas to the table — features, interactions, or tools that set Techvruk apart
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Stay updated on emerging frontend trends, js updates, and web performance best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment with short iteration cycles
Required Technical Skills:
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js (App Router / Pages Router), HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, JWT Authentication
- Database: MongoDB, postgresql
- Next.js: SSR, SSG, ISR, API Routes, Middleware, Image Optimization
- Tools: Git, GitHub, Postman, VS Code, Vercel / AWS / Render
- SEO & Growth: Meta tags, Open Graph, Sitemap, Structured Data, Core Web Vitals
- Soft Skills: User empathy, analytical thinking, proactive communication, ownership mindset
Good to Have:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with Redis, caching layers, or job queues
- Knowledge of A/B testing tools and product analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar).
- Prior experience working on an ed-tech, community, or SaaS platform
- Understanding of basic DevOps — CI/CD pipelines, Docker, environment management
