Techkriti' 27 presents Trade Quest, a high-intensity stock market simulation where teams will test their financial acumen by making real-time trading decisions. Can you navigate the market fluctuations, analyze risk, and make the right investment moves? It's time to put your trading instincts to the test!
Event Structure:
Format: On-campus quiz-style stock market simulation.
- Teams will be presented with various market scenarios on-screen.
- Each scenario will include key financial indicators, market trends, and company updates.
- Teams must decide whether to 'Buy,' 'Sell,' or 'Hold' the stock within 2.5 minutes based on the given information.
- Answers will be submitted through a designated platform, which will also record response timestamps.
- Scoring:
- Teams will earn points based on the accuracy of their decisions.
- In case of a tie, teams with the fastest average response time will be ranked higher.
- The detailed marking scheme will be shared before the event.
Guidelines:
Team Composition & Registration:
- Each team can have up to 5 members (UG and PG students are eligible).
- A participant cannot be part of multiple teams in the same event.
- Multiple teams from the same college are allowed to participate.
Competition & Evaluation:
- Only college students will be considered when deciding the winners.
- Teams must submit their answers within the given time limit for each scenario.
- Response time will be a key deciding factor in case of ties.
Rules & Fair Play:
- The decision of the judges is final and incontestable.
- Organizers reserve the right to modify the timeline if necessary.
