Overview:
Techkriti'27 presents Code N Compete: a high-intensity competitive programming challenge designed to push your logic, speed, and problem-solving skills to the limit. Whether you're a beginner eager to prove yourself or a seasoned coder aiming for the top, this contest is your chance to think fast, code smart, and outperform the rest.
Event Structure:
Round 1: Online Round
- This round will feature 4 programming questions designed to test problem-solving and coding skills.
- The duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
- The exact details of the marking scheme will be shared prior to the contest.
- All questions will be displayed at once.
Round 2: Onsite Finale – IIT Kanpur
- This round will consist of 5 competitive programming questions, with difficulty increasing according to the index of the question.
- Participants will have a total duration of 2 hours to solve all the questions.
- There will be no specific time limit for each individual question; participants are expected to manage their time effectively.
- The exact marking scheme and scoring details will be provided before the contest.
- All questions will be displayed at once.
Guidelines:
- Team Composition: Code N Compete is a team contest, with each team consisting of up to 3 members. If there is more than one participant, registration must be done as a team.
- Eligibility: Students, including undergraduates and graduates, and professionals from across the world are eligible to participate.
- Registration & Prize Eligibility: To claim the prize money, participants must register on both the competition platform and Techkriti's website.
- Fair Play & Disqualification: Any participant found indulging in malpractice or plagiarism will be immediately disqualified by Techkriti, IIT Kanpur.
Winner Determination:
- The winner will be determined based on the combined scores of Round 1 and Round 2.
- In case of a tie:
- The participant/team that has solved the most number of questions will be given preference.
- If the number of questions solved is the same, the participant/team that solved the hardest question earlier will be given preference.
- If there is still a tie, the participant/team that took less time for submission will be given preference.
