Talapatram.ai is hiring for the role of Content Writer & Researcher!
About the Company:
Talapatram.ai is building an AI-assisted learning platform focused on making India's vast knowledge traditions accessible, engaging, and relevant for the modern learner. Their content covers Sanatana Dharma, Indian philosophy, Itihasa-Purana, temples and traditions, Indian history, Indian Knowledge Systems, Yoga, Ayurveda, stories, literature, and other aspects of India's civilizational heritage.
Responsibilities:
- Research & Fact-Checking: Deeply research topics across Hindu philosophy, traditions, festivals, temples, Itihasa-Purana, Indian history, and Indian Knowledge Systems. Identify compelling stories, facts, concepts, and questions. Use primary and credible secondary sources, cross-check claims, and distinguish between scriptural references, historical evidence, scholarly interpretations, and popular beliefs. Maintain a structured research and content database.
- Write & Create: Develop content across various formats including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Instagram carousels, WhatsApp, Blogs & articles, Educational modules, Children's stories, Festival & occasion content, and Product & feature content.
- Storytelling: Transform complex ideas into simple, engaging narratives, focusing on strong hooks, relevance, surprising elements, emotional/intellectual payoff, and shareability.
- Content Repurposing: Convert a single research topic into multiple content pieces (e.g., Reel script, carousel, WhatsApp post, YouTube Short, article, multiple hooks).
- Content Strategy: Contribute to Talapatram's content calendar, identify emerging topics, develop recurring content series, analyze performance, and collaborate with the marketing team on growth-aligned content.
- AI-Assisted Content Creation: Utilize AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance research, ideation, and production speed, while taking full responsibility for verifying all AI-generated facts and interpretations.
Requirements:
- Must Have: Excellent English writing skills, strong research and analytical ability, excellent storytelling ability, strong curiosity about Indian culture and Indic knowledge systems, ability to independently research unfamiliar subjects, understanding of social-media content formats, strong attention to factual accuracy, and ability to write for both children and adults.
- Strong Plus: Knowledge of Sanskrit, Hindi, Telugu, or another Indian language; background in history, philosophy, literature, Indology, religious studies, or IKS; experience creating Instagram/YouTube content, educational/cultural content, SEO, basic Canva/video-editing skills, and experience using AI tools in content workflows.
- Experience: 1–4 years in content writing and research.
