Opportunity brief

All About Yukti

  • SIBM Nagpur proudly presents Yukti, a national level management case competition that brings together students from across the country to solve real business challenges. The competition is designed to test how participants approach complex problems, think critically under pressure, and present practical solutions with confidence.
  • Yukti is open to students from every management specialization. Whether your interest lies in marketing, finance, operations, human resources, strategy, or analytics, the competition focuses on one quality that every successful manager needs: the ability to make informed decisions when faced with real business situations.
  • The competition consists of three stages. Participants begin with a business aptitude quiz, followed by a strategic case analysis, and conclude with a live presentation before a panel of academicians and industry professionals. Throughout the competition, greater importance is given to structured thinking, business understanding, problem solving, and the ability to justify recommendations rather than expertise in any software or technical skill.

Apart from cash prizes and national recognition, participants may also receive:

  • Pre Placement Interviews (PPIs) for Summer Internship Programs (SIP) for eligible first year MBA and PGDM students from recognized institutes.
  • Pre Placement Interviews (PPIs) for Final Placements for eligible second year MBA and PGDM students from recognized institutes.

The above opportunities are subject to the recruitment policies and final discretion of the participating corporate partner(s).

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to students currently pursuing MBA or PGDM programs from recognized institutes across India.
  • Each team must consist of 2 to 3 members.
  • Team members should belong to the same institute. Students from different specializations are encouraged to participate together, as diverse perspectives often lead to stronger and more balanced solutions.
  • Inter college teams are not permitted.
  • A participant can register as a member of only one team.
  • All team members must complete the registration process before the specified deadline.
