Swiggy is hiring for the role of Sales Manager II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Own a defined geographic territory and build strong, successful relationships with assigned restaurant partners.
  • Conduct field-intensive engagement through in-person visits, product demonstrations, ROI analysis, and presentations highlighting the mutual benefits of working with Swiggy.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to understand restaurant needs, including current sales channels, delivery logistics, marketing spend, and business goals, and position Swiggy's products as solutions rather than features.
  • Manage the full partner lifecycle, including pitching, negotiation, activation, and ongoing relationship support.
  • Track adoption metrics, identify factors affecting restaurant growth, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions based on data.
  • Take ownership of revenue targets within the assigned territory and monitor individual pipeline and conversion rates.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and WSP to manage and analyze day-to-day business data.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on restaurant trends, competitive landscapes, and local market dynamics, and provide field insights to inform product direction.
  • Conduct approximately 80–90 in-person meetings with restaurant partners each month

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development, preferably in the FMCG, food and beverage, or hotel industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and independently managing a sales pipeline.
  • Ability to take ownership of the growth and performance of an assigned portfolio of restaurant partners in a fast-paced, round-the-clock restaurant business.
  • Strong data-handling skills, particularly in Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, use VLOOKUP, and build dashboards independently.
  • Postgraduate qualification, preferably in Marketing or Sales.
