StayVista is hiring for the role of Financial Controller - Finance & Accounts!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Preparing monthly MIS and financial reports.
- Analyzing profitability and business performance.
- Managing receivables and cash flow.
- Reconciling financial accounts.
- Ensuring accurate financial records and timely month-end closures.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Providing data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Strengthening financial controls.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Controlling.
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent; pursuing CA-Inter, CMA-Inter, or MBA-Finance is a plus.
- Working understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to prepare and analyze cost sheets, financial reports, and MIS.
- Exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- This position includes tasks supporting Owner and Guest Management, as determined by organizational needs.
