SS&C is hiring for the role of Associate Manager!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash, positions, and transactions across equities, corporate bonds, MBS, derivatives (OTC and listed), repos, bank loans, and private securities. - Analyze and investigate cash and security position differences arising from reconciliations. - Coordinate the resolution of reconciliation breaks with clients, prime brokers, counterparties, and internal departments. - Upload trades into trade capture systems manually or through automated file uploads received from managers and prime brokers. - Perform trade confirmations with counterparties. - Track and process corporate actions. - Monitor failed trades and support settlement activities. - Lead technical, skilled, or professional staff working on issues and projects of moderate scope. - Exercise independent judgment while working within established policies, processes, and procedures. - Actively participate in resolving escalated issues and ensuring schedules and deliverables are met. - Administer company policies and provide direction and guidance to team members on day-to-day activities. - Coordinate work through team leads where required to ensure effective execution and timely resolution of operational issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum requirements are a Master's degree and 1 year of related experience, a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, or a high school degree and 5 years of related experience.
