In an increasingly connected digital world, cybersecurity has become an essential skill for everyone. SECURA is a hands-on cybersecurity workshop designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of cybersecurity and help them understand how cyber threats can be detected, analysed, and prevented.

The workshop focuses on defensive cybersecurity strategies, giving participants an opportunity to explore different types of cyber threats, understand common security anomalies, and learn practical approaches to responding to cyber incidents.

Through live demonstrations of cybersecurity tools and practical insights, participants will gain a better understanding of how cybersecurity professionals identify potential threats and protect digital systems.

Who Can Participate?

Participation is open to registered YUVA 2026 attendees. Participants should carry a valid college ID and their event participation ID, if issued.

Important Guidelines

Participants are required to:

  • Report to the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled reporting time.
  • Maintain respectful behaviour and follow college decorum.
  • Attend the complete workshop to be eligible for the e-certificate.
  • Follow all instructions provided by the organizers and volunteers.
  • Take responsibility for any damage caused to college property, equipment, network hardware, or infrastructure.
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, misconduct, or any behaviour that violates event rules.

Note: Accommodation and transportation facilities will not be provided.

The organizing committee reserves the right to make necessary changes to the schedule, venue, or rules with prior notice wherever possible. The decision of the organizing committee/judges regarding the event will be final.
