Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
- Conduct statistical analysis and apply machine learning techniques to derive actionable conclusions.
- Support A/B testing initiatives and interpret the results to guide business decisions.
- Contribute to quantitative analysis projects and present findings effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and documentation for various stakeholders.
- Utilize business acumen to understand the context and implications of data findings.
- Apply logical reasoning to troubleshoot data issues and propose solutions.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation, along with strong analytical skills in Python and R.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI and Tableau, coupled with a solid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in Data Analysis.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts, A/B Testing methodologies, and the ability to apply Quantitative Analysis and Business Acumen to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills, including Verbal Communication and Report Writing, supported by strong Logical Reasoning capabilities.
Job Summary:
Embark on a transformative 3-month journey as a Data Analyst Intern at Skill Orbit and gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, statistical interpretation, and real-world problem-solving. You will work with industry-relevant tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau while contributing to practical data-driven projects.
The internship offers flexible working hours, a performance-based stipend, a Certificate of Completion, Letter of Recommendation, Learning Allowance, and Counselling Support. The stipend will be provided based on the intern's performance, contribution, dedication, and successful completion of assigned tasks and projects.
