About Skanda Sanctuary

Skanda Sanctuary is a growing space dedicated to yoga, meditation, self-enquiry, and inner well-being. We are building a digital sanctuary that helps people slow down, turn their attention inward, and explore a more conscious way of living.

We are looking for a Video Content Intern who can transform raw recordings into engaging, polished, and visually consistent video content for YouTube, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

What You'll Do

• Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Edit two-camera recordings, selecting the strongest angles and creating natural, visually engaging cuts.
• Add and synchronise music, ambient sound, transitions, graphics, captions, and other visual elements where appropriate.
• Create short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, clips, and teasers from longer recordings.
• Identify compelling moments from long-form videos that can be repurposed as standalone social media content.
• Add subtitles, titles, text overlays, and other elements that improve clarity and engagement.
• Maintain consistency with the Skanda Sanctuary visual identity and aesthetic.
• Work with the team to understand the purpose and target audience of each piece of content before editing.
• Translate video content between Spanish and English.

Tools & Skills

We are looking for someone comfortable with professional or semi-professional video editing tools such as:

• Canva
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Final Cut Pro
• CapCut
• Other comparable video editing software

You do not need to use all of these tools. What matters most is your ability to produce a high-quality finished video.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in video editing and content creation.
• Ability to take raw, unedited footage and turn it into a polished final video.
• Good understanding of pacing, cuts, framing, storytelling, and visual rhythm.
• Ability to work confidently with multi-camera footage.
• Good understanding of music selection and how to use music without overpowering the content.
• Ability to create both long-form and short-form content.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of an edit from raw footage to final output.
• Interest in yoga, meditation, spirituality, philosophy, or holistic well-being is a plus.
• Interest in or familiarity with the Spanish language is a strong plus.
