About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester Intern to join our team in Udaipur. The selected candidate will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications.
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance while working on real-world products and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Perform API and database testing where required.
- Maintain detailed test documentation and testing reports.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and product quality.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with manual testing and test case design.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of API testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, Postman, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, or a similar language is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
Eligibility
- Students or recent graduates pursuing/completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Freshers with a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates should be available to work from Udaipur, Rajasthan for the duration of the internship.
