Sigmoid Analytics is hiring for the role of HR Intern/Trainee!

Responsibilities of the Intern:

  • Support employee onboarding, induction, probation, and confirmation processes.
  • Coordinate documentation and maintain accurate employee records in the HRMS.
  • Maintain and update employee data related to new joiners, employee connects, resignations, and other lifecycle activities.
  • Assist with HR data tracking, reporting, and basic analysis.
  • Support HR documentation and ensure adherence to established HR processes and policies.
  • Assist with employee queries and day-to-day HR operational activities.
  • Support HRBP initiatives and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate with managers, employees, and HR stakeholders on people-related activities.
  • Assist in employee connections and engagement initiatives.
  • Support performance management and appraisal cycles through data collation, tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with employee communications and HR documentation.
  • Support HR initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and engagement.
  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist in preparing communication material for HR programs and initiatives.
  • Support employees connect initiatives and gather feedback.
  • Assist with people-focused projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with HR reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Support policy-related documentation and updates.
  • Work on ad hoc HR projects and administrative activities.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Prior 1 to 2 years of experience before post graduation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and independently follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to HRMS or recruitment/HR tools will be an added advantage.
