About the Company
Shortsqueeze Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Social Media & Community Intern to help strengthen its digital presence and build meaningful conversations with its audience. This is a remote opportunity for someone who understands how people discover, share, and respond to content across platforms including Instagram and Reddit.
Responsibilities
- Manage Instagram engagement, including comments, direct messages, replies, and community interactions.
- Monitor relevant Reddit communities, participate thoughtfully in conversations, and identify opportunities to build awareness and trust.
- Stay aware of short-form video trends and support Instagram Reels initiatives where relevant; hands-on Reels creation is a plus, not a mandatory requirement.
- Track trends, formats, conversations, and cultural moments across Instagram and Reddit that could inspire relevant content.
- Support content planning and help improve audience engagement, reach, and user growth across both platforms.
- Review performance insights and share practical ideas for improving content and community activity.
- Maintain a responsive, friendly, and consistent brand voice across comments, DMs, posts, and community discussions.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of social media culture, especially Instagram and Reddit communities.
- Ability to recognize engaging content and contribute ideas that encourage genuine conversation.
- Good written communication, creativity, initiative, and attention to online trends.
- Comfort with engaging respectfully in public online communities and adapting communication to different platforms.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels or other short-form content is a plus, but not essential.
- Suitable for an entry-level candidate who is enthusiastic about digital communities and audience growth.
- Football knowledge is a plus, but it is not required.
This is a paid, full-time, remote internship with a monthly stipend of ₹15,000. The internship duration is 1 month, with the possibility of a longer engagement based on mutual fit and requirements.
