Key Details:
Event Structure:
- The competition is structured as a fast-paced sprint featuring multiple progressive tiers (Easy → Medium → Hard challenges).
- Participants will be provided with a set of cybersecurity-themed challenges. Each challenge hides a flag that must be submitted on the event portal to score points.
- Challenges are designed to scale in complexity, naturally filtering participants based on speed and technical skill.
- Participants are free to use any online resources, tools, or scripts to solve the challenges. Creativity and persistence are key.
Scoring System:
Points: Every challenge shows its point value upfront on the portal.
- Easy Challenge - 100 points
- Medium Challenge - 250 points
- Hard Challenge - 500 points
Tie-Breaker: If two teams tie on points, the team that reached that score first wins.
Judging Criteria:
- Each challenge carries specific points based on its difficulty level.
- The scoreboard will reflect participants' progress in real time.
- Teams with the highest total points at the end of the competition will be declared winners.
- Tie-Breaker: The team that reached the score first will be ranked higher.
Guidelines for Participants:
- The use of the internet is permitted and will be provided.
- Participants are not permitted to try to exploit or hack the portal on which they are competing.
- Participants must not attempt to access or interfere with the college network or any related systems.
- Instance Scope: Interact only with the specific target IP/port or downloadable file provided for that individual challenge.
Basic Rules:
- Any kind of misconduct or unfair activity (such as cross-team flag sharing or brute-forcing the platform) will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Participants must follow all instructions given by the organizers during the event.
- In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizer will be final and binding.
