Opportunity brief
About RentOk
- RentOk (formerly EazyApp) builds software that helps PG, co-living, and rental property owners run their business - tenants, billing, collections, and payments. We're a fast-growing team based out of Gurugram.
About the Role
- We're looking for an HR for a role that's built primarily around hiring - you'll be running our recruitment engine day to day, closing multiple roles a month, end to end. Alongside that, you'll own the rest of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, HR operations, payroll, and exits, keeping things running smoothly behind the hiring.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (core focus of the role)
- Partner with team leads to understand hiring needs and scope roles
- Write and maintain job descriptions
- Post roles across job boards and channels; source candidates directly
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies where needed
- Screen applications and run first-round calls
- Manage the candidate pipeline and tracker (Dover)
- Schedule interviews and drive timely feedback from candidates and interviewers
- Lead salary negotiations; generate and release offers
- Follow up through offer acceptance and joining
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Onboard new hires — documentation, asset setup, HRMS profile creation, and induction
- Manage attendance, leave, and notice-period tracking
- Run monthly payroll and manage PF-related compliance
- Handle employee exits — documentation, full & final settlement, and access closure
What We're Looking For
- 2 – 4 years of experience as an HR generalist, ideally with strong exposure to talent acquisition
- Track record of hiring at pace and owning the process end to end, not just a piece of it
- Working knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory compliance (PF, etc.)
- Comfortable with HRMS/ATS tools (we use Craze and Dover)
- Highly organized, with the ability to run multiple HR workstreams in parallel
- Strong communicator - comfortable driving conversations with candidates, managers, and leadership
