About the Event

The Startup Sprint Challenge 2026 is a 16-hour hackathon-style innovation event organized by E-Cell RGPV, providing participants with an opportunity to develop practical and technology-driven solutions to real-world problems.

The challenge encourages participants to apply their creativity, technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork to ideate, develop, prototype, and present innovative solutions within a limited timeframe.

Participants are required to access the registration form through the provided link, fill in all the necessary details, and submit the form successfully.

Upon successful submission of the Registration Form, the participant/team will be considered fully registered for the Startup Sprint Challenge 2026.

Participants are advised to ensure that all information provided in the registration form is accurate and complete.

What Participants Will Do

Participants will be expected to:

- Select a problem statement from the available tracks. - Understand and analyze the problem and its requirements. - Brainstorm and design an innovative solution. - Select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks. - Develop a working prototype or functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP). - Test and improve their solution within the allotted time. - Prepare a presentation and project demonstration. - Present their solution and demonstrate the working prototype before the judging panel.

Event Process

- Problem statements will be provided at the beginning of the hackathon. - Teams will select a problem statement from the available tracks. - Teams will have 16 hours to develop their proposed solution. - Participants may seek guidance from mentors and organizers during the event. - Teams must complete and submit their projects within the specified deadline. - Each team will present and demonstrate its solution before the judging panel. - Winners will be selected based on their overall performance and evaluation by the judges.

Prize Pool

The total prize pool for the Startup Sprint Challenge 2026 is ₹30,000.

The distribution of the prize money among the winning teams will be announced by the organizers during the event.

- Access to Other Events: Participants registered for the Startup Sprint Challenge will also have access to and may participate in other events organized by E-Cell RGPV during the event, subject to the respective event guidelines and eligibility requirements.

Rules & Guidelines

- Each team must consist of 1–3 members. - Each team can submit only one solution. - The project should be developed during the hackathon. - Teams are free to use suitable programming languages, frameworks, libraries, APIs, and development tools. - Any external or pre-existing resources used in the project must be properly acknowledged. - Plagiarism, copying, or presenting someone else's work as original is strictly prohibited. - Teams must submit their project within the specified deadline. Late submissions may not be considered. - Participants must bring their own laptops and any other equipment required for developing their projects. - Participants must carry a valid government-issued ID proof and their college ID to the event for verification. - Participants must follow all instructions provided by the organizers and mentors. - Any form of cheating, unfair practice, plagiarism, or misconduct may lead to disqualification. - Participants are expected to maintain discipline and professionalism throughout the event. - The organizers reserve the right to take appropriate decisions regarding matters not explicitly covered under these guidelines.

Mandatory Consent Letter for Outside College Participants

Participants attending the Startup Sprint Challenge from outside colleges must obtain and carry a Consent Letter from their respective college or institution.

The Consent Letter must be signed by the concerned Faculty, HOD, or Director of the participant's college or institution.

The Consent Letter is mandatory for all outside college participants. Participants must carry the duly signed Consent Letter to the event and produce it whenever required by the organizers.

Outside college participants are advised to obtain the Consent Letter well in advance of the event to ensure smooth participation and verification. Consent Letter link: Letter Link

Participant Verification

All outside college participants are required to carry the following documents to the event:

The Consent Letter is mandatory for outside college participants and may be required during registration, entry, or verification at the venue.
