About the Opportunity:
Step into the battlegrounds with AETHER: Welcome to the Battleground, a two-stage inter-college BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) esports tournament designed to bring together competitive collegiate gaming talent from across the country. This event offers players a platform to showcase strategic gameplay, squad coordination and clutch decision-making under pressure while competing on one of the biggest inter-college gaming stages.
Format:
The tournament unfolds across two high-stakes stages:
- Stage 1 – Online Qualifiers: 125 teams (500 players) compete online to earn their spot in the finals.
- Stage 2 – LAN Finals: The top 25 teams (100 players) advance to a live, on-ground LAN showdown.
Event Details:
- LAN Final Date: 12th September 2026
- Venue: PW Institute of Innovation, Noida
- Live Stream: The entire tournament, including the LAN finals, will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel, with an expected 2,000+ live viewers.
- On-Ground Audience: 300+ spectators are expected at the venue.
Eligibility:
Open to all participants aged 16 and above across India. Teams must have 5 registered players with valid BGMI accounts. No prior competitive experience is required. All participants must follow the tournament rules and fair-play guidelines.
Process:
- Team registration and squad verification
- Online qualifier matches (Stage 1)
- Top 25 teams shortlisted based on qualifier standings
- LAN Finals at PW IOI, Noida (Stage 2)
- Winners announced live during the LAN finals broadcast
