Opportunity brief
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD.
- Assist in updating existing designs and preparing documentation such as assembly drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Research and suggest suitable standard mechanical components like fasteners, bearings, and gears.
- Manage and maintain inventory of components, tools, and materials with proper labeling and regular tracking.
- Organize and take care of tools and equipment in the workspace, ensuring everything is functional and in order.
- Assist with basic prototyping, hands-on assembly, and other mechanical tasks as required.
- Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently, including design, workspace maintenance, and inventory tasks.
- Maintain a clean, functional, and organized workspace environment.
- Work independently, take initiative, and be capable of managing day-to-day tasks as a solo contributor without constant supervision.
