Roles & Responsibilities: Assist in creating and modifying 2D and 3D CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Fusion 360, or Creo. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical layouts, and assembly drawings based on project requirements. Support senior designers and engineers in product design, development, and documentation. Revise existing CAD models and drawings based on design reviews and engineering feedback. Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry regulations, and engineering specifications. Maintain organized documentation of CAD files, revisions, and design records. Participate in design review meetings and incorporate suggested improvements into designs. Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), exploded views, and manufacturing documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Perform basic design calculations and feasibility studies under supervision. Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and design best practices. Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities. Identify and report design issues while proposing practical solutions. Learn and apply engineering standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and drafting principles. Complete assigned projects within deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. Key Skills Preferred: Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Fusion 360, etc.). Understanding of engineering drawing standards and drafting principles. Familiarity with 2D and 3D modeling concepts. Basic knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new design tools and technologies.
